As other reviewers have suggested it does have a yogurt like smell. Personally I like yogurt and its smell, but I realize not everyone does. It does have a granulated sugar covering so if you are diabetic, or on a low sugar diet you may want another brand of calcium gummy. It comes it orange and strawberry and they both taste great. They have a creamy texture aside from the granulated sugar coating. I have done the viactive calcium chews, but their label suggests swallowing them and not chewing them. Personally, I find them a bit large to swallow and they do have a slightly chalky taste, which is normal for calcium vitamins. However, this does not have the normal chalky calcium vitamin taste. Also, they are not the normal horse sized calcium pills that are bitter, which makes me more likely to take them.

If you require calcium - and what woman over a certain age doesn't - this one is great. You'll need 4 per day (two in am and 2 in pm) but they taste great, easy to chew and easy to digest. I had stomach surgery, so getting enough calcium & vitamins is doubly important and VitaFusion takes care of everything.

After reading a few good reviews i want to give it a try. But no, it tasted awful, too sweet and don't like the texture. The Vitafusion mulitivitamin is way better than this.
